  • DO I NEED TO REFRIGERATE MY JAR OF WILD FRIENDS?

    There is no need to refrigerate Wild Friends products. We recommend storing in a cool, dark place like your pantry. Oil separation is natural, so give your jars a stir after opening.

  • WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR NUT BUTTER?

    If sealed, jars last 1 year from their date of manufacturing. Check the expiration date on the side of the packaging. Once opened, consume within 3-6 months for the best taste and texture.

  • ARE YOUR JARS BPA FREE?

    Yes, our jars are made from BPA free recycled plastic.

  • ARE YOUR NUTS/SEEDS ROASTED?

    Yes, all of our nuts and seeds are dry-roasted.

  • ARE YOUR NUT AND SEED BUTTERS NON-GMO VERIFIED?

    Yes, all of our nut and seed butters are Non-GMO verified by The Non-GMO Project.

  • HOW DO YOU CHOOSE YOUR SWEETENERS IN YOUR NUT AND SEED BUTTER?

    We use several different sweeteners: an Organic Clover Honey, Organic Cane Sugar, and Evaporated Cane Sugar. We source high quality sweeteners and use them all minimally.

    The majority of our products contain between 2-5 grams of sugar per serving.

  • WHERE DO YOUR NUT/SEEDS COME FROM?

    Our almonds are from California. Our peanuts are from Texas or Georgia. Our organic sunflower seeds are sourced from different locations depending on the time of year.

  • WHERE DOES YOUR HONEY COME FROM?

    We are proud to partner with GloryBee (TM) and source 100% of our honey from pollinator friendly sources. A portion of every sale of our Super Butter goes back to Save The Bee program.

  • IS THERE ANY CAFFEINE IN YOUR VANILLA ESPRESSO ALMOND BUTTER?

    There is less than 1 mg of caffeine per serving (2 TBS) in our Vanilla Espresso. For comparison, the average cup of coffee contains over 100mg.

  • ARE YOUR PRODUCTS KOSHER?

    All of our products are certified Kosher Pareve except for our 3 protein nut butters: Vanilla Protein Almond Butter, Chocolate Protein Peanut Butter and Vanilla Protein Peanut Butter.

  • WHAT ARE THE WHITE SPOTS/COATING ON THE SURFACE OF MY NUT BUTTER?

    If you find this in our Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter or Chocolate Almond Butter jars, it is called cocoa bloom.  This happens naturally when the cocoa butter separates, solidifies and rises to the surface of the jar.  Since we choose not to use ingredients like palm fruit oil to stabilize our products, this separation is likely to occur.  It happens most often in the winter time when our nut/seed butters are exposed to temperature variations.
    Although this blooming is not a food safety hazard, we understand that the appearance is not ideal.  It is perfectly okay to stir the separated fat back into the jar, but we would also be happy to replace the jar for you.  Please send us the flavor, where you purchased the product, the best buy date and a photo to yourfriend@wildfriendsfoods.com, so we can track the batch it came from.

  • I BOUGHT AN EXPIRED JAR/PACKET. HOW CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

    If you have purchased a Wild Friends product that is expired from a grocery or retail store, please return it to the store where you bought it. If you have purchased Wild Friends online, please return it to the online retailer.

    If you cannot return the product, please email us at: yourfriend@wildfriendsfoods.com, with a picture of your receipt and a picture of the date code on the product so we can replace it for you.

  • I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH ONE OF YOUR PRODUCTS. WHO SHOULD I CONTACT?

  • HOW CAN I PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS?

    You can purchase our products from our website, on Amazon, and a variety of other web retailers. We sell in grocery and retail stores across the US and Canada.

  • I DON’T WANT TO BUY A MULTIPACK. WHERE CAN I BUY JUST A SINGLE JAR?

    You can purchase single jars at your local grocery store. Please see our Store Locator for stores near you!
    If you do not have any stores locally that carry Wild Friends, you can purchase our products individually online from Luckyvitamin.com or Vitacost.com.

  • HOW DO I BUY THE SEASONAL FLAVORS?

    We are so excited you want to try our seasonal flavors!

    We make a limited number of our seasonal flavors and sell them online and at select retailers. Some of those retailers include: TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sprouts. A number of other small co-ops and local grocery stores carry our seasonal edition flavors as well, so keep an eye out at your local store.

    If you live in the Portland metro area, you can find our seasonal editions in New Seasons Markets.

    If you can’t find our seasonal products locally, but know a store that carries our other products, you can ask the store manager to special order some for you from their distributor.

    If you try to order our seasonal flavors online but find them out of stock, we promise we are working hard to replenish our online inventory.

  • I DON’T LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES, CAN I STILL BUY YOUR PRODUCTS?

    We currently sell our products in a small number of Canadian grocery stores, but otherwise do not sell outside of the USA. You can order online at Vitacost.com, which ships outside the United States.

  • I LIVE IN CANADA, WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR PRODUCTS?

    You can find our products in all Canadian Whole Foods. We also sell our product in a small number of Canadian grocery stores. Please consult our store map or call your local grocery store to see if they carry Wild Friends products.

  • I CAN’T FIND WILD FRIENDS IN MY STORE. WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR PRODUCTS?
