Sunflower Seed Energy Bites

A filling crunchy snack packed with protein, fiber and healthy fats! These energy bites are nut free, super easy to make and an excellent grab and go snack! The Wild Friends Honeu Sunflower Butter provides a nice salty flavor, while the dates add a sweet contrast! The nutritious seeds feed the need for a nice crunchy texture and deliver an excellent source of fiber and protein!


Sunflower Seed Energy Bites

Ingredients:

1 cup muesli or oats

½ cup Wild Friends Organic Honey Sunflower Butter

pinch of sea salt

1 tbsp cinnamon

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp hemp seeds

2 tbsp sunflower seeds

1 tbsp vanilla

1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes

4-5 dates (pitted)

Directions:

  1. In your food processor, grind muesli or oats until flour consistency
  2. Add the sea salt, cinnamon, chia seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds and coconut flakes and mix until combined.
  3. Next, add the Wild Friends Honey Sunflower Butter, dates and vanilla and mix until a dough forms. *If mixture isn’t forming, add more sunflower seed butter little bits at a time.
  4. Roll into 1 inch balls
  5. Store in fridge for a week or longer in the freezer!
