I know you already have your thoughtful Mother’s Day gifts all ready but in the case you don’t, I’m here to help.
If you’re low on cash but savvy in the kitchen, whipping up a delightful recipe for your mom is always a great gift idea. Instead of your typical breakfast in bed, I thought this year I’d take it to a whole new level with dessert for breakfast in bed. This meal just might make your mother’s entire year, so be prepared to be showered in compliments. This recipe also makes enough for two servings, so you can join in on the deliciousness as well! It doesn’t get peachier than that. ;)
Ingredients:
3 cups frozen peaches
½ cup old fashioned oats
2 tbsp chopped almonds
½ tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp Wild Friends almond butter
1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Divide the frozen peaches evenly into two oven-safe ramekins.
In a separate bowl, combine the oats, almonds, melted butter, almond butter, and maple syrup. Spoon mixture evenly over each ramekin.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the topping is lightly brown and crispy.
Serve to your mamma in bed and tell her that you love her. :)
