Chocolate Almond Butter Bars, We grew up loving the traditional Rice Krispie treats, which is how we came to love our Chocolate Almond Butter Bars. We set out to re-create a grown up version of the sweet treat using our Chocolate Almond Butter! This recipe is easy and fun to make and is a perfect way to get kids to help in the kitchen! We love making these before a busy week, to have on hand when the snack cravings hit. This recipe would be the perfect healthy treat to pack in a lunch, take to work or as an after dinner treat! Crunchy, sweet, and so simple to make, you'll be coming back to this recipe over and over again!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups rice cereal
- 3/4 cup brown rice syrup
- 3/4 cup Wild Friends Chocolate Almond Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the brown rice syrup to a low boil for one minute.
Remove from heat and stir in the almond butter and sea salt.
Place the cereal in a large bowl and pour the melted mixture over the top. Stir until all of the cereal is coated in the almond butter mixture.
Press the mixture into a 9-inch baking pan that has been thoroughly coated in coconut oil to prevent sticking.
Press hard to pack the bars tightly. Allow the bars to cool completely in your fridge before cutting into square bars. Enjoy!
